Esto lo escribo en chiquito porque no pensé volver a leer a Fresán, tan caro a mí en su momento, pero tan nefastamente alejado; más por mi culpa que por la de él; pasados los años; y heme de vuelta, aquí, porque no quería; porque estaba leyéndolo; porque me estaba gustando; porque me reía; aunque por chistes viejos; como estar repasando Mantra en la versión del director; como repasar el dvd de Mantra; porque Mantra fue Fresán para mí; aunque el libro, la edición original, que se conseguía en Bogotá a tres mil pesos que es nada, un regalo, botado en las ventas de saldos de la panamericana de la décima se lo haya prestado a una amiga y nunca sido devuelto;

Ese momento en que dice que cuando joven todo el libro le llegaba en una brisa y ahora ya cucho todo le llega tras un esfuerzo inaudito y en modo de fichas de un rompecabezas sin ninguna indicación a armar o a seguir o a hilar

Más tarde, sin saber que vendría una pausa; y no hablo de la temática; del desespero; de la ausencia de coordinación; soy yo no él; ese tipo de cosas; y dejando a un lado la // su// obligatoriedad para con sus bases temáticas; confinado a un mismo estilo; conducido por su propia abducción y/o inteligencia; su brillantez kafkiana pero sin otorgarse el fresco dominio de la locura;
